Homemade Chicken Tikka

HOMEMADE GRUB TO WARM UP THE CHILLIEST OF EVENINGS - IDEAL FOR A NORTHERN NIGHT IN!
Ingredients
- 3-4 boneless and skinless chicken breasts pricked all over & then cut into bite-size pieces
- 1 tsp garlic paste
- 1 tbsp ginger paste
- 100 ml of natural yoghurt (whisked)
- Juice of 1/2 a lemon
- 1 tsp dried fenugreek leaves
- 2 tsp of corn flour
- 2-3 tbsp of oil
Spices
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1-2 tsp salt (to taste)
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 2-3 chopped green chillies
Method
- Take a mixing bowl & add all the ingredients. Give it a good mix. Marinate the chicken overnight or for 6-7 hrs.
- Preheat the oven to 240 C
- Place the chicken pieces on a baking tray & cook for 15 mins or so, turning only once
