Helping you transform unloved furniture...

Do you have a piece of furniture relegated to being used as a junk draw? An out-of-fashion dresser hidden in a corner, or a hand-me-down table you’re not sure what to do with?

TCHL Interiors can provide the guidance and assistance that will help you transform unloved pieces of furniture hiding in the corners of your home. The shop provides everything you need, from well-respected paint brands to varnishes, stains and much more.

Having moved to Bacup Road close to the centre of Rawtenstall in July 2022, the shop has quickly gathered a family of loyal customers. From locals to people across the Pennines, crafters of all abilities flock to the showroom for help with their latest project. Tony and Carl are more than happy to provide advice and guidance over a brew and a biscuit, from quelling social media myths (you should never just splatter on paint, no matter how tempting the idea may be) to suggesting appropriate colours to suit your vision. Can’t get down to the shop? Give them a call or drop them an email.

If you need a bit more help getting started on your upcycling journey, you can attend a workshop in the showroom. Bring along a piece of furniture in need of a refresh to the full-day workshop and leave with a completed piece.

For more detailed guidance attend a breakdown workshop, which focuses on particular aspects of upcycling. Other crafting workshops are also available and, if you wish to hold a bespoke workshop, that can be arranged – whether you’re celebrating an occasion, a get together with friends or a child’s birthday party with a difference. If you have a younger creative eager to get involved, TCHL Interiors’s Easter workshops are a great way to get your little ones imaginations running wild. All details can be found instore or online.

TCHL's upcycling range

If you have a piece of furniture you want upcycling, but don’t feel like you can do this yourself, you can leave your furniture in owner Carl’s capable hands. Carl, who is a Dulux select decorator and winner of Decorator of the Year three years running, can provide bespoke commissions so that your most precious pieces are in safe hands.

Call into the showroom on Bacup Road or visit their shop on Rawtenstall market each Thursday and Saturday and take the first step on your upcycling journey.
