Watercress Smoothie

Watercress is packed with Vitamin C – just one bag of watercress gives you 50 mg of Vitamin C, more than the recommended daily amount of 45mg; 10mg more than in an orange of the same weight!

Ingredients

  • 85g watercress
  • 160g mango, peeled & roughly chopped
  • 110g cucumber, roughly chopped
  • 1/2 an avocado
  • 4 dried apricots
  • 8g parsley
  • 350ml water
  • Nutmeg to finish

Method

  1. Place all of the ingredients into a high-speed blender.
  2. Blitz until velvety smooth and drink immediately or chill and keep in the fridge for up to three days.
  3. Add nutmeg to taste before serving.
