It really is a problem this funny ageing game
I’m sure there’s many people who also feel the same
I pick it up, I put it down, I wonder why I came
It really is a problem this funny ageing game.

I go out on a shopping spree and wander round the store
When I try to leave I cannot find the door
I wander round, up and down everything looks the same
It really is a problem this funny ageing game.

In the supermarket if I forget my list
I wander round in a dream like a girl after her first kiss
Up and down the stairs it’s a wonder I’m not lame
It really is a problem this funny ageing game.

I’ve decided to go backwards get rid of my aching bones
Have lovely long hair I’d decorate with combs
If I go back to sixties would it be the same?
It really is a problem this funny ageing game.

I’d like to text, or email, or maybe send a tweet
If I could get my fingers working that would really be a feat
When I look back into the past I wouldn’t make a change
Cos’ it’s really not a problem this funny ageing game.
