Save This Mouse | Poetry
by Northern Life

O pussycat, I love you so
With needle claws and mouse in tow,
Don’t let it die this darkened night
Let it dance with squirrels, watched by owls in flight.
Fairies and bees come hover around
Gently so, don’t make a sound
Save this mouse that sheds a tear
Watched over by a group of deer.
They dip their heads, as if to say
Come now fairies, save the day,
Wave your wand with sparkle bright
Let mouse run free this moonlit night.
