The locals of Haworth are in uproar of their beloved Post Office closing its doors. Once used by the renowned Brontë sisters and now serving the Brontë Parsonage Museum as well as the local community, this piece of history frozen in time sits on the picturesque Haworth high street.

For many of the elderly who live in sheltered housing here, Sami the postmaster can be the only person they talk to all day, with the only other alternative being out of walking distance for many.

So, what can we do to help? Aside from attending the peaceful protest taking place on the church steps on Sunday 22nd August, you can sign the petition to help save this historic landmark of the town of Haworth – http://chng.it/S2SxBHVWnG
