1The Amazon Echo Dot is as good as the Echo at a fraction of the cost
The Amazon Echo Dot is a hands-free, voice-controlled device that uses Alexa to play music, control smart home devices, provide information, read the news, set alarms and more.
How is it as good as the Echo?
Well, the Echo Dot has all the great features of its big brother the Echo only without the speaker included. As a result it comes in a third of the price. In fact the Echo Dot has an audio out port, meaning you can plug it into your own system, which arguably makes it more flexible than the Echo.

3A compact Bluetooth tracker
How much time have you spent looking for things? If someone were to ask you now, “where are your keys?”, what would his response be? How about your phone? Or your wallet? The chances are this is something many of us have in common, because as a species we spend a shocking amount of time looking for stuff. The Tile Mate is a Bluetooth device that is small enough to attach to a keyring or slip into a wallet. You can then ring lost items just like you’d call a lost phone and if your Tile is within the 100-foot Bluetooth range, it will play a loud tune until you find it. If you’ve lost your phone, you can double press the button on your Tile to flip-reverse its role and ring your misplaced mobile – even when it’s on silent!
