The Lowry is named after Laurence Stephen Lowry (1887 – 1976) – an artist who spent much of his life in Salford and whose work is strongly associated with the city. The largest L.S Lowry collection in the world on permanent display. Daily 10-minute L.S.Lowry talks on weekdays at 2pm. Free.

The Royal Gardens of Goldsborough Hall are opening for the National Garden Scheme on Sun 7th April. Garden highlights include 50,000 daffodils along the quarter mile long Lime Tree Walk, planted by Royalty in the 1920s. Woodland walk and glasshouse & kitchen garden, refreshments available.
