An exciting line-up of events to celebrate the King's Coronation. A giant screen to watch the Coronation live! Roaming street artists, a main stage including live performances from The Take That Experience and other entertainment, picnic area, children's entertainment. Fun day out for all the family.

The 2023 Nelson Food and Drink Festival will return in style with a number of fantastic free attractions including live cooking demonstrations, entertainment for all the family and an extra special competition for local school children. Alongside the demonstrations, there will be over 30 food and drink stalls, offering incredible cuisine and an array of aromatic worldwide delights.

The Pendle Peace Walk
Colne & Nelson
The Pendle Peace Walk brings people together from different towns, faiths, cultures and social status to walk together in a show of solidarity and unity as citizens of Pendle. This involves two groups of people from our Pendle community who will follow routes along main roads and scenic countryside paths. One group setting off from Colne Town Centre and the second group from a central base in Brierfield. Both Peace Walk groups will converge at the Nelson Shuttle marking the beginning of the Festival of Culture.
