Opera North’s Requiem
Leeds Grand Theatre New Briggate, LeedsIn Opera North’s latest collaboration with Phoenix Dance Theatre, Dane Hurst (West Side Story Symphonic Dances) directs and choreographs the Requiem alongside a new work created with guest artists from South Africa. In this cross-cultural production, Phoenix and performing artists from South Africa will join forces with the Chorus and Orchestra of Opera North conducted by Garry Walker in a unique response to the grief experienced by so many around the world during the pandemic. 7pm, Sun mat 2.30pm.
