A weekly tai chi and qigong session run by the community centre. Join this friendly group and learn the gentle art of tai chi. This is a service providing mums and dad's with a safe play environment, where toddlers can be left for up to two hours, while appointments, jobs, and shopping can be done. Shared Reading Group
Make friends through reading. Shared reading groups are a new type of reading group. They are very relaxing as there is no reading required before coming to the group. Instead each group has someone who reads aloud to the group and encourages discussion. Chatting about what has been read over "a brew and a biscuit" is a big part of the group. All printed materials are provided at each meeting - no books to borrow or buy and no reading to a deadline! Every Wed 2.15pm - 3.15pm.
