Drawing for Relaxation with Lancashire Adult Learning

This course is designed to encourage confidence and take the stress out of drawing in order that it can be embraced as a relaxing and mindful activity. Learners will be introduced to a range of drawing exercises that alter perceptions of drawing whilst encouraging observational skills that help them take notice of the world around them. Beth Stone is an avid player of all flutes. She is currently principal flautist of the Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra and the London Baroque Orchestra. Daniel Murphy studied Classical Guitar at the Junior Guildhall Music Department for 4 years before starting Undergraduate studies at the Royal College of Music. As a soloist Daniel was recently the only lute finalist in the New Elizabethan Award 2022. The programme will include music by Hans Neusidler, John Dowland, Tobias Hume, Henry Eccles, Giacobbe Cervetto, Beethoven, Saint-Saens, Faure, Villa-Lobos, Piazzolla and Chick Corea.
