Beat Herder Festival

Head into the trees and enjoy a fantastic festival like no other. Beat-Herder is a reggae, dubstep, house and dance festival. Started in 2006 Beat Herder attracts over 12,000 guests to the valley and the Forest of Bowland. Various prices.

CLITHEROE MUSEUM

Clitheroe Castle & Museum Castle Hill, Clitheroe

The award-winning Museum is located in the former Steward's House, a Grade II listed building that was built in the 18th century to house the Steward of Clitheroe Castle.  Visitors to the museum will be transported through 350 million years of local history. There is a Gift Shop making it a great day out for all the family. Adult £4.90, concs £3.70, accompanied children free, young people 13-18 free. Open daily.
