CLITHEROE MUSEUM

Clitheroe Castle & Museum Castle Hill, Clitheroe

The award-winning Museum is located in the former Steward's House, a Grade II listed building that was built in the 18th century to house the Steward of Clitheroe Castle.  Visitors to the museum will be transported through 350 million years of local history. There is a Gift Shop making it a great day out for all the family. Adult £4.90, concs £3.70, accompanied children free, young people 13-18 free. Open daily.        

Coronation Celebrations at The Shireburn Arms

The Shireburn Arms Whalley Rd, Hurst Green, Clitheroe

Come along for a royal day out  in celebration of the King’s Coronation.  From noon, the coronation will be showing on the big screen.  Afternoon tea fit for a king will be served. Kids can enjoy garden games and royal activities, alongside a delicious picnic.  Afternoon tea £19.95, child's picnic £9.95.
