Bradford Literature Festival

Bradford Literature Festival is an annual festival and year-round cultural outreach programme. Encompassing the best of literature, music, theatre, cultural discussions, lectures and family events. Over 500 events take place in historic venues over the course of ten days celebrating the written and spoken word in all of its glorious forms.

Bradford Brick Festival – Lego

Sedbergh Sports and Leisure Centre, Low Moor, Bradford

A Lego fan event dedicated to all things brick! This will be a great day for families, collectors, adult builders and every other kind of Lego fan. With lots to see and do including speed building competitions, large scale displays, activities, new Lego sets, retired lego sets, plus a dedicated building area. £5 - £18.

Dragon Boat Festival

Roberts Park Higher Coach Road, Saltaire

The event promises to be a fun filled family festival with dragon boat racing on the river and landside attractions for all to enjoy including children’s entertainment, charity stalls, catering stands, landside games, bar, live acts and much, much more. Great family day out.

Festival of History

Heskin Hall Wood Lane, Chorley

Festival of History is our annual celebration of all things in our country’s history. A multi period event featuring living history displays and exhibitions. These are from various eras presented by some friendly and knowledgeable re-enactors. There will be stalls, live entertainment, cafe & bar.
