Ruby Tingle – Afterlife Exhibition

The Whitaker Museum & Art Gallery Haslington Road, Rossendale

Ruby Tingle presents her new work Afterlife, resurrecting The Whitaker’s off show taxidermy collection as new dioramas in a temporary ‘swamp heaven’. The show draws together installation, works on paper, music, scent and performance to create a multi sensory fantasy wetlands.

L.S LOWRY EXHIBITION

The Lowry Pier 8, The Quays, Salford

The Lowry is named after Laurence Stephen Lowry (1887 – 1976) – an artist who spent much of his life in Salford and whose work is strongly associated with the city. The largest L.S Lowry collection in the world on permanent display. Daily 10-minute L.S.Lowry talks on weekdays at 2pm. Free.

Threads through Creation – Exhibition

You are invited to come and see the amazing panels of textiles by Jacqui Parkson. 'Threads through Creation' panels of spectacular stitching tell the christian story of 'Creation in the Bible. The eight million stitches express God's Love! Free.
