PLUM AND APPLE SPRITZ

The perfect tipple for the celebratory weekend, this brand-new, limited-edition gin has been lovingly crafted with King Charles’ favourite botanicals, plants and flowers.

 

Ingredients

  • 50ml Silent Pool
  • Coronation Gin
  • 15ml Plum Juice
  • 15ml Apple Juice
  • 1 Teaspoon Honey

Method

1. In a small tin, add all ingredients and stir until combined.
2. In a wine glass, add ice, add your mix and top up with English Sparkling Wine
3. Garnish with an apple slice

THE KING’S GIMLET

Inspired by King Charles’ time serving in the Royal Navy; the gimlet dates back to the 19th century, when the British Navy was prescribed lime juice with their Officer’s daily ration of gin.

Ingredients

  • 45ml ARC Botanical Gin
  • 15ml fresh grapefruit juice
  • 15ml fresh lime Juice
  • 15ml simple syrup
  • Lime wheel

Method

1. Pour ARC Botanical Gin, grapefruit juice, lime juice and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker.
2. Add ice and shake vigorously until very cold.
3. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass, garnish with a lime wheel and serve.

ROYAL BLUSH

A summer showstopper, this is the perfect cocktail to sip and soak up the sun on Coronation day.

Ingredients

  • 50ml Slingsby Rhubarb Gin
  • 200ml Fever-Tree Lemonade
  • Fresh Strawberries, to garnish

Method

1. Pour 50ml of Slingsby Rhubarb Gin into a highball glass with ice and top it with Fever-Tree Lemonade.
2. Mix it all together and top with fresh strawberries.

FENTIMANS KING’S CORONATION COCKTAIL

Fentimans’ Ginger Beer is botanically brewed using the same traditional techniques as Thomas Fentiman back in 1905 for cocktail that is fiery and full of flavour.

Ingredients

  • 200ml Fentimans Ginger Beer
  • 60ml Vodka
  • ¼ English cucumber (diced)
  • ¼ English cucumber (sliced)
  • ½ lime (cut into 2 wedges)
  • 5 fresh mint leaves

Method

1. Muddle mint leaves in a cocktail shaker until crushed.
2. Add diced cucumber and 2 lime wedges.
3. Muddle until cucumber is crushed and limes have been juiced.
4. Add more ice and vodka. Cover the shaker and shake until the outside has frosted.
5. Strain the cocktail into a glass, top with ginger beer. Garnish with sliced cucumber.

CONKER ICED TEA ROYAL

Get into the spirit with a royal brew – there’s nothing more British than the humble pot of tea. Get the kettle on and put a twist on a classic with this royal-tea inspired cocktail.

Ingredients

  • 35ml Conker Dorset Dry Gin
  • 105ml Earl Grey tea
  • Dash of lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • Slice of lemon to garnish

Method

1. Brew Earl Grey tea and allow to cool
2. Fill tumbler with ice and add gin
3. Top up with cooled Earl Grey tea and add a dash of lemon juice and sugar to taste.

BATHTUB GIN DILL SOUR

Taking inspiration from ‘bathtub gins’ of old, this cocktail uses small-batch, handcrafted gin filled with flavour to combine with the sweet and sour taste of the egg white and lemon.

Ingredients

  • 50ml Bathtub Gin
  • 20ml lemon
  • 15ml agave syrup
  • 1 tsp fresh dill
  • 1 egg white
  • Dill sprig to garnish

Method

1. Add all the ingredients to a shaker and shake well to combine, then add ice and shake hard to create the delicious foam top and infuse the dill flavour.
2. Strain into a glass with ice and garnish with the dill sprig.
