Charity Valuations at GB Antiques

Charity Valuations to Celebrate Landmark Anniversary

This month the team at GB Antiques Centre are celebrating their 25th anniversary.

To honour such a huge milestone in his business, antiques expert and owner of the centre, Allan Blackburn is offering cut price valuations to visitors, in aid if his two favourite charities.

On Sunday 30th August, there will be a gazebo erected just outside the centre (situated on Lancaster Leisure Park) and between 11:00 and 3:00, visitors are welcome to bring 2 items to be valued for just £5, in aid of two local charities. All proceeds go to Cancer Care and Alexander House.

Allan attributes his success to hard work and a genuine love of what he does.  He said “We are a family business and we all work hard. My wife, and two of my children work alongside me. Many members of the team feel like family as they’ve been with me for years. The children keep asking me to take it a bit easier but I’ve not intention of retiring just yet!  My favourite part of the job is valuing peoples treasures, so I hope lots of visitors come down on Sunday 30th August and help us celebrate our anniversary”.
