Bryan Adams has announced that he’ll be back in the UK next summer with an open-air tour set in the grounds of some of the UK’s most beautiful venues. The tour includes July dates at Scarborough Open Air Theatre, the DCBL Halton Stadium in Widnes and Harewood House, Leeds.

A regular visitor to the UK, these will be Bryan’s first outdoor summer dates since the 2017 Get Up Tour.

With a growing reputation in Canada and the US, Bryan Adams became a global star with the release of his Reckless album at the end of 1984 which yielded a string of world-wide hit singles including Run To Me, Heaven and perennial concert anthem Summer Of ‘69.

Adams place in UK chart history was cemented in 1991 when (Everything I Do) I Do It for You, the theme from the movie Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, spent an unprecedented 16 consecutive weeks as the UK number 1 single. The song, a number 1 in 16 countries, went on to sell more than 15 million copies worldwide making it Adams’ most successful song and one of the best-selling singles of all time.

(Everything I Do) I Do It for You also helped Adams to a global number 1 album with Waking Up The Neighbours and the follow up 18 til I Die also topped the UK album chart in 1996. His continued popularity is evident as his two most recent albums Get Up (2015) and 2019’s Shine A Light both reached number 2 in the UK album chart. The title track of the latter album was co-written by Adams and Ed Sheeran.

This tour will include Bryan Adams’ second appearance at Scarborough Open Air Theatre following his sell-out headline show at the venue in 2016.
