Bringing a Smile to Halifax

Looking for a reason to smile? Head to Confident Dentures

Clinical dental technician Carrie Pemberton works hard to provide only the best services for her patients. Located conveniently in Halifax’s thriving town centre, her clinic, Confident Dentures, offers bespoke, personalised dental construction that not only looks natural and is comfortable, but is sure – as its name suggests – to restore your confidence.

“Being engaged with on a personal level is, I think, far better than being rushed through in a quick 15-minute dentist slot!”

A crucial aspect of Carrie’s service is that she offers free consultation – something that not only sets Confident Dentures apart from other dental clinics, but ensures full patient input and satisfaction throughout the whole process. “Getting new teeth is a big investment for anyone, on top of it often being quite expensive!” Carrie laughs. “That’s why it’s important for us to offer our patients free consultation, giving them the time and space they need to outline their problems, allowing me to present them with suitable, individualised treatment options, and, most of all, enabling me to listen to their ideas and suggestions. That listening is really important. Being engaged with on a personal level is, I think, far better than being rushed through in a quick 15-minute dentist slot!”

Carrie first trained as a dental technician in 2003, before then undertaking additional training to becoming a Clinical Dental Technician, which enabled her to provide dentures directly to the public. Having worked in dental care for so long, Carrie is not only clearly passionate about her field, but is highly qualified to provide professional, reliable consultation and support. “I put all my experience into making the best quality dentures, and providing friendliest service possible,” she explains. “From me you get only the best materials, and the most up to date methods.”

New changes are coming to Confident Dentures at the beginning of October, too. “We’re in the process of moving to a new premises on Clare Road, Halifax,” Carrie explains. “It’s a really lovely, big new building. It’s in a great location too – in walking distance from the bus station, and with parking available right outside, so there’s lots of great transport links! Plus, it’s all on one level with no stairs up to the entrance, which is really important for me as that means it will be accessible, especially for people with mobility issues who might not have been able to access the previous premises. It’s all new, and very exciting.”

All of this comes together to form a service that is, naturally, sure to leave you with a smile.

The local Halifax community functions as an important foundation for Carrie’s work, with that same warm and welcoming spirit embodied as much in her practice as anywhere else in town. “It’s a really lovely town centre here,” she smiles, “everyone is really friendly and welcoming, and there is such a nice sense of community. A lot of infrastructure and regenerative work is being put into the area, too, which is absolutely great.”

Carrie’s professional experience and friendly services, then, only cement Confident Dentures as an important part of Halifax’s budding business ecosystem. The central role that providing free consultation takes just goes to show how valued patient comfort, satisfaction, and input is in everything Carrie offers. Not only does she provide a comfortable and caring atmosphere – now from a new, fresh, and accessible venue – but her words constantly highlight her genuine care for her customers. All of this comes together to form a service that is, naturally, sure to leave you with a smile.
