Executive Head Chef Colin Starkey has infused his restaurant menu with a love for British and local produce, treated with a simple style that allows the fresh ingredients and exceptional flavours to shine.  A modern approach which takes classic British food and reinterprets for contemporary dining.  Alongside a varied a la carte selection, the restaurant’s Josper Grill cooks quality steaks, pork and fish to perfection. Dishes can be perfectly paired with excellent wines from the extensive selection.

In addition to the award-winning restaurant, diners have a choice of staying overnight in a Classic Double Room, Classic Double with a Garden View, Junior Suite and Master Suite. You can enjoy a late-night resident’s bar, 24hr reception, complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi and free parking including Tesla charging points.

Terms and Conditions

Prize is a two-night weekend stay for two people in double/twin room, breakfast, a 3-course dinner with bottle of House wine on one night, and two tickets to Tatton Park.  Prize valid until 31st May 2020, subject to availability.

  3. Wow ive never been to this part of Cheshire but would love to go. I had a nosey at things to do round the hotel and would love to visit the treacle market, have a walk to see White Nancy and have a nice relaxing walk along Quarry Bank Mill and Chapel Woods. Fingers crossed 😀

  4. I would love to stay here and go and see a special friend who lives nearby. It would be such a treat to stay in such a beautiful place.

  5. Living in the next county I get to visit Occasionally but not been to The Edge for 40 years, when my sister in law worked at De Trafford Arms and only ever been to Tatton Park once! But there is places of interest in Derbyshire I still havent visited yet.

    I have never walked The Edge so that would be lovely as would a visit to Tatton Park, and I believe Nether Alderley Mill is worth a visit along with the great shops in Alderley .

  6. I’d REALLY love to win for me and my partner, We have been together for 20 years on the 2nd december (just gone) … BUT it’s also our daughters birthday on the same day, so we haven’t celebrated our anniversary at all yet 🙁 We’ve still to exchange gifts too ! xx

  8. I’d love to surprise my wonderful fiance Mark awwww. He’s looked after this last year whilst I’ve been undergoing life saving treatment. He works so hard to look after us all always putting himself last. He deserves a treat and what a treat this would be.

  11. The author Alan Garner used the legend of The Wizard of the Edge, and other local legends, in his novels The Weirdstone of Brisingamen and The Moon of Gomrath. He was born in Congleton, was raised in Alderley Edge. I remember reading the books when I was a child and I was fascinated by the area.

  18. Alderley Edge is transformed from the place it used to be in the late 1970’s when I used to ride my bike there from home a couple of miles away and play with friends and call at the sweet shop! I’d love to have a look at it now and enjoy some of the lovely looking cafe bars that have opened. It’s worth going there just to look at the amazing cars that drive through!
