    Turkey Casserole and Herby Dumplings

    If you are looking for a comforting and tasty Christmas savoury recipe, look no further. With Greens Cakes Dumpling mix you can make this lovely dish for your friends and family to enjoy!

    137 g Greens Dumpling Mix

    1 Large Pinch Chopped Mixed Herbs

    2 Carrots

    2 Celery Sticks

    1 Turnip

    1 Medium Potato

    1 Butternut Squash

    200 g Leftover Turkey (Shredded into Chunks)

    1.5 Pints Chicken Stock

    1 Leftover Christmas Gravy

    1 Tbsp Oil

    2 Tbsp Plain Flour


    11. Dice vegetables into chunks and fry in little oil for 5 mins.

    22. Add flour and cook for a further 1 minute.

    33. Add chicken stock and gravy

    44. Simmer for 20 mins until vegetables are tender.

    55. Add shredded turkey and stir.

    66. Make dumplings as per pack instructions, adding the chopped herbs into the mix.

    77. Shape into 4 dumplings and either cook at 180°C on an oiled baking tray for crispy dumplings or place on top of the casserole and cook in the oven for 20 mins until risen and fluffy.
