The UK’s annual celebration of all things veggie takes place this week from Monday 18 to Sunday 24 May 2014. National Vegetarian Week is an annual event promoting and celebrating the benefits of a vegetarian lifestyle. In addition to being vibrant, exciting and flavourful, a vegetarian diet benefits animals, the environment and your health with the added benefit of being kind on your bank account. Even Jamie Oliver is going veggie for three days a week saying, “it will save you a load of money and it challenges you to be more creative but it’s an absolute joy”.
