Originally based in Burnley, GB Integrated Systems are a family owned business that has chosen to move base to its employees’ hometown – building the new premises specifically suited to their customers’ needs, conveniently on Colne’s Vivary Way at the end of the M65 and fronted by a spacious car park.
Formed in 2003, the business has historically worked on commercial and industrial fire safety and security. When Scott Earing came on board as Managing Director in 2009, they expanded their offering to fully integrated home technology, covering everything from lighting to audio visual and home automation. Today, the team of 11 is a family business of homegrown talent; with seven in-house engineers out on the road, most of which have joined as apprentices and grown up with the business.
“We are finding that more and more people are now considering full home automation”
The new premises features a meeting room with high-end speakers uniquely built into the wall, promising pristine sound quality yet minimal visibility. With its cinema room spec, controlled at the touch of a button, the space showcases just some of the many audiovisual and home automation products and services offered by GB Integrated systems.
“We are finding that more and more people are now considering full home automation, whether it starts with their security, AV, lighting or blinds, they soon recognise the benefits of investing in a fully controlled system for their home or office, for ease of use and peace of mind. We are the only local company that does what we do, and we are keen to integrate into our community – domestically and commercially.”
Having worked on the opulent new Tattu restaurant in Manchester’s Spinningfields, and for The Seafood Pub Company and Daisy PLC, GB Integrated Systems have an impressive local and national portfolio – combined with their investment in training, accreditations and clearances to the highest level in the security sector, the company is able to ensure the highest standard of service. So, whether you are looking to protect your space from fire and force, are interested in making your home or workplace operate with ease, or just fancy a pad fit for the future: shop local and pop into the new GB Integrated Systems headquarters for a chat; no job is too big or too small.
